The Presidential Team had an unforgettable two-day trip to the Florida State Capitol, diving deep into the legislative process. From engaging meetings with Representatives Edmonds, Dunkley, Robinson, Antone, and Gantt, to a spirited debate on education with Representative Hinson, we were fully immersed in the world of politics!
A special thank you to Representative Dunkley for hosting us at the Student Academic Success Subcommittee, and to Senator Davis for leading an insightful mock Senate debate. We were honored to be officially recognized on the Senate floor by Senator Davis and introduced to key leaders like the Speaker of the House, Senate President, and both Minority Leaders.
The trip was also filled with fellowship and fun as we connected with the Tallahassee Kappa League. We even had the opportunity to visit the Florida Supreme Court!
