Phase III - Kappa League Retreat

Continuing the trend of new and exciting experiences, the Kappa Leaguers participated in their very first three-day overnight retreat. The Leaguers spent three days bonding, laughing, and engaging in activities that pushed them to grow both personally and as a team.

On the first day, after settling in, the Leaguers watched the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight and enjoyed some downtime playing video games.

The second day was filled with exciting challenges! The Leaguers met with the Brothers of the prestigious Pi Phi Chapter and the innovative Omicron Gamma Chapter at Florida Atlantic University for a day at the challenge course. Their fears were tested as they tackled ice-breakers, low and high elements, climbing, and more.

Next, they connected with former Leaguers and current students from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) and Harvard University on a Zoom call, gaining valuable insights about college life. Afterward, they enjoyed a BBQ, outdoor water activities, and basketball. The evening ended with a powerful discussion on the importance of successfully completing high school, led by Brother Spencer, Assistant Principal of Blanche Ely High School.

On the final day, the Leaguers gathered with their families for a church service and reception to celebrate their achievements and experiences.
